One of a series of fanciful compositions, this pays tribute to the family of my wife, Esther Kohn-Bentley. The photographs include those who perished in the Nazi Holocaust and those who by grace, wisdom, and great courage survived.

I’ve housed them arbitrarily within a fantastical apartment building, topped by the cupola of the Kiever Shul in Kensington Market from which the present-day Esther looks on, wafted across the sky by a windswept balloon.
